Background Description

Berry Butter is a Traditional TieGuanYin, which is a classic Chinese oolong variety. This tea is named after a Buddhist Goddess, Guanyin, Iron Goddess of Mercy or “The One Who Perceives the Sounds of the World”. An oolong that has more of a flowery note than others. A wonderful companion to Rock Oolongs.

These leaves have come from a small family owned tea garden in Anxi. Wei Shuangzhi is the current owner, she has inherited this garden from her father. The tea garden has been owned by the same family since the early 1900s.

Brewing Guide

Add 3g to 120ml of 100º water. Infuse for 30 seconds. Pour & enjoy!

Add an extra 10 seconds brewing time for every subsequent infusion.
